For the second time, TuS Traunreut recently organized a youth sports day on the club premises. “As in the previous year, the event was a complete success,” the organizers rejoiced. With optimal weather conditions, around 100 children and young people took part in the youth sports day. The parents were also enthusiastic about one or the other sport.
The circuit through the departments started at the facility of the tennis department. We continued along the Traunring to the bowling alley, where the children were allowed to try their hand at bowling and darts. After a short cool down in the bowling alley we went on to the TuS Stadium. The athletics and ski departments were waiting here.
About football golf, karate and boxing
The basketball department set up a refreshment stand with hot dogs and popcorn between the stadium and the artificial turf field, which was very popular. After refreshments at the stand, we went on to the football department, which had set up a football golf course. Then it was time to get out of the sun and into the hall. There, in the Kadlec Hall, the departments of judo, karate and gymnastics were waiting. The circuit continued into the boxing room, where the children laced their boxing gloves. Finally, we went to the TuS hall to the handball and basketball departments.
The tour ended in the foyer of the TuS hall. Here, each participant received a small present and handed in their participant card to be raffled off for a free annual membership.
The TuS also thanked the Kreissparkasse Traunstein-Trostberg, the SBK Traunreut and the Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Tüßling-Unterneukirchen eG for the donations in kind.
