Saint-Romain-Lachalm. Badminton donates half of its profits to the association “Step by step with Lenny”

The 2023 edition of the Bad’in Tour took place in the cold, the wind and the drizzle. Despite everything, the badminton club was still expecting just as many motivated people, which was the case: 440 participants in this mountain bike, trail and walking hike and 300 meals served. “As with every edition, we are making our contribution to charity. This year, half of the profits were donated to the association “Step by step with Lenny”, confide the president Julie Marconnet and the volunteers. This contribution amounts to 1,600 euros.

Advance Lenny as much as possible

Lenny is a 14-year-old disabled teenager from Saint-Pal-de-Mons. His disease is not known, it is characterized by a global delay in development, motor disorders, epilepsy. Lenny does not speak and needs help with all his daily activities.

For six years, “Pas à Pas avec Lenny” has raised funds to finance professionals (specialist educator, specialized mistress, psychomotrician), equipment adapted to his motor disorders, rehabilitation therapies and leisure activities. “We want the best for our son in order to empower him and help him progress as much as possible. Thank you to all the associations that organize events for the benefit of our association,” said Nathalie and Stéphane, the parents of the young boy.
