Ronaldinho-Kaka Inspires Italy’s Top Score in the U-20 World Cup

There is one player who stands out in the Italy squad. Dia Casadei, who has scored six goals in the Under-20 World Cup.


In the five matches played by Italy, Casadei only once failed to score. He was followed by the Brazilian player, Marcos Leonardo, who has scored five goals.

Already incarnated as a sharp player, the Chelsea player emphasized that he had imagined himself to be Ronaldinho and Kaka when he was a child. He still remembers the moment he scored the first goal, when he used the gate of the house as a goal.

“I still remember my first goal. The gate of the house as the goal, against my two younger brothers, six and four years. I imagined myself to be Ronaldinho or Kaka. Then, I realized I was good enough and I chose to be a footballer,” Casadei said in Transfer market.

Casadei studied at the Inter Milan academy in the 2018-2022 range. After that, the Chelsea academy accommodated him until he was finally able to break into the main Blues squad in 2023.

Never getting the chance to play, the 20-year-old footballer was loaned to Reading. He played 15 times with a contribution of one goal in all competitions.
