I’m finally at the tail end of the leftovers from the BBQ we had last weekend. That said, I’m down to hamburger buns! I had a slight craving for an Arby’s Roast Beef sandwich. After a quick run to the store for roast beef, I got to work! If you haven’t noticed by now, I’m a big fan of using ingredients I already have on hand and let me just say, this sauce was made with simple everyday items and it will be on repeat until the end of time.
Ingredients:
1 lb of sliced roast beef from the deli
Sliced cheddar cheese for each sandwich
Hamburger buns – toasted
Sauce:
1 cup of ketchup
2 tbs water
1 tsp hot sauce
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
2 tbs apple cider vinegar
2 cloves of garlic – minced
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp paprika
1 tbs brown sugar
Mix all sauce ingredients in a small saucepan @calphalon Heat on stove over low heat until ready for use. Add roast beef to a pan and season with salt and pepper. I cook it just enough to get the meat more pliable and warm. Turn your oven on broil. Start to assemble the sandwich with the toasted bun, meat and a slice of cheddar cheese. Broil until cheese melts. Pull out of the oven, add sauce and top toasted bun. Oooooh yeahhh!
