Next Monday, June 26, the registration period will be open to participate in one of the Municipal Sports Schools offered by the Cabanillas del Campo City Council for the next 2023-2024 season, aimed at the sports training of the children and youth population of the location.
Next season there are 13 different disciplines on offer, with an important novelty: the creation of a Municipal Climbing School, taking advantage of the new climbing wall built in the Municipal Fitness Center. In addition, interested boys and girls may opt for classes in Athletics, Basketball, Handball, Futsal, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Trampoline Gymnastics (trampoline), Judo, Padel, Figure Skating, Taekwondo, Tennis and Volleyball.
Regarding the registration deadlines, from July 26 to 2, a period is established in which those students from the previous season who wish to renew their place in the same discipline will have preference in registration. As of Monday, July 3 and until August 4, registration is open to new registrations, in addition to renewals.
All the sports modalities of the schools will be taught two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday or Monday and Wednesday) and the fixed public prices range between 15 and 25 euros per month, depending on the discipline. The schedules and days of the new Climbing School are pending. In this case, the information will be completed throughout the summer, since schedules and the way to manage the activity are still being considered.
The Municipal Sports Service wants to highlight the importance of meeting these registration deadlines, and respecting the deadline of August 4, since it is the only way to confirm the number of interested parties, of each age, and in each specialty. , in order to know which groups definitely come out ahead, especially in regards to team modalities. In case of not gathering enough students to create a group, the organization will open the possibility of integrating boys and girls with those of other ages.
The Municipal Sports Service has already drawn up the provisional schedule of schedules that will govern the Schools next season, although it must be remembered that they are approximate, since they are conditioned on the final number of groups that succeed. In some disciplines, in addition to age, the sporting level of each boy or girl may be taken into account when assigning a group.

To formalize the registration, you must download and complete the forms available at the bottom of this information (registration sheet, SEPA payment order and consent document for image capture) and deliver them in person at the Municipal Fitness Center. It can also be done through the Municipal Electronic Office.
Finally, it should be remembered that these 13 municipal sports schools are complemented by the Soccer Schools, which in the town are managed by the Sporting Cabanillas CF club, and which has also launched its registration deadlines these days.
