Quimsa Nears Official Announcement of New Signings: Bruno Sansimoni and Eduardo Vasirani

Quimsa has negotiations underway for the arrival of Bruno Sansimoni and Eduardo Vasirani, but details are only missing for the brand new National League champion to make the official announcement.

Coach Leandro Ramella has already given the go-ahead for the hiring of Sansimoni and Vasirani, who will become the new faces of the merged squad and will occupy the senior cards.

Sansimoni will replace Franco Baralle, who decided to continue his sports career at Minas do Brasil.

The point guard from Olavarri played the last two seasons in Peñarol de Mar del Plata. His professional career began in Quilmes, and then went through Boca, Hispano Americano from Río Gallegos, Malvín from Uruguay and Cocodrilos from Venezuela, where he has just averaged 9.9 points and 4.6 assists last season.

In this way, Juan Ignacio Brussino and Bruno Sansimoni will alternate in the base position and will have to compete for ownership. A third option in the position is Agustín Pérez Tapia, who will occupy a bigger tab, but will be used more as an escort.

For his part, Vasirani will be one of the team’s inmates. The 2.06 meter center from La Plata played last season at Comunicaciones de Mercedes, where he averaged 9.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists.

Quimsa will be his seventh club in the National League, after playing in Boca, Hispano, Quilmes, La Unión de Formosa and Ferro Carril Oeste, in addition to the mercedinos.

Vasirani will be one of the options that Leandro Ramella will have on the bench. The starting center is not confirmed. Quimsa wants to keep the American Eric Anderson, MVP of the Finals against Boca, but the player is analyzing the possibility of undergoing an operation, which will force him to stay away from high competition.

Quimsa is waiting for the player to make a decision. If he finally decides to go under the knife, they’ll go looking for a replacement, which would leave Kevin Hernandez off the team.

Fabián Ramírez Barrios from Corrientes, who is very close to renewing his contract, had a great season and became a key player in Leandro Ramella’s team.

Ramírez Barrios has the ambition to play for important things and knows that Quimsa will go in search of the two-time National League championship and will try to recover the throne in the Champions League.

The “Fusion” will try to put together a competitive team to face the 2023/24 season, in which it also aspires to play the Super 20 Cup at the end of the first round.
