Seiji Kono will retire from professional basketball.
I received an offer and had the option of continuing to be a professional player, but my desire to train my children more seriously than continuing to be a professional player grew stronger year by year.
I have been able to come this far thanks to the support of many people during my 11 years as a professional basketball player. I am full of gratitude to my teammates, coaches, staff, sponsors, boosters, and family who have fought alongside me. In the future, I’m going to reduce the experience and knowledge that I’ve been growing so far to the children!
My next dream is to produce world-class athletes from among the children involved with Seiji Kono.
