Pokémon Go: Crypto-Arktos in Raids Beat

In Pokémon Go we have Heroes Ascendant in May 2023 at the end of the season the Rising Shadows event experienced and for the first time we were allowed to fight Crypto-Pokémon in the so-called Crypto-Raids. However, crypto raids should not remain a one-off thing – from Friday, June 16, 2023 to Sunday, June 25, the event “Like day and night” will take place in combination with a Team GO Rocket takeover.

But not only in this period you can encounter Crypto Arktos in Crypto Raids! Starting from June 10, 2023, Crypto Arktos will appear in the Crypto Raids on June weekends, i.e. June 10 and 11, June 17 and 18, and June 24 and 25, 2023. Attention, Shiny Hunter: If you’re lucky, you might even encounter shiny Crypto Arktos! Keep in mind that you cannot play Crypto Raids with a Remote Raid Pass.

Crypto Arktos is dual-type Ice and Flight. Thus, the Pokémon is particularly weak compared to the rock type (it is boosted when the sky is partly cloudy). If your counter-front looks weak with moves and Rock-type Pokémon, you can fall back on the following effective types: Steel (boosted when it’s snowing), Fire (boosted when it’s sunny and clear), and Electric (boosted when it rained).

Crypto Arktos meets you with 40,165 CP. Its Attack stat is 163 and its Defense stat is 198. Note that the stats change as the Pokémon Frenzy! Crypto Arktos will blast you with Ice-type Fast Attacks (Ice Breath and Ice Shards) before attempting to knock you out of the arena with a Charged Ice-type (Blizzard, Ice Beam, Ice Storm) or Rock-type Attack (Ancient Power).
