Paulina Martínez Wins Silver in Judo at Central American and Caribbean Games

San Salvador, El Salvador.- The judoka representing the state of Guanajuato, Paulina Martínez, won the silver medal in the -52 kilograms division of the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games that take place on Salvadoran soil.

The battle for the gold medal was frantic, dramatic, so much so that it had to be decided until the gold technique instance, where the Cuban Yurisleydis Hernández ended up getting the best part by surprising Martínez with an Ippon.
