SANTO DOMINGO.– Orelvis Martínez homered and doubled and Félix Valerio had three hits, including a home run, on Thursday corresponding to the minor leagues of organized baseball in the United States.

In Double A, Martínez went 3-4 with a double (3), home run (15), two runs scored and an RBI (35) for New Hampshire (Blue Jays) who lost with a 13-7 score against Reading (Philis).

Valerio went 3-3 with a homer (1), scored and RBI (9) by Biloxi (Brewers) in a setback with a score of 8-6 against Pensacola (Marlins).

For the winners, Nasim Núñez had three runs scored with three walks and two official shifts.

Jeisson Rosario went 2 for 4 to help Somerset (Yankees) defeat Portland (Red Sox) 11-7.

Allan Cerda went 1 for 1 with a run scored, RBI (19) and three walks with Chattanooga (Reds) who lost 5-4 against Tennessee (Cubs).

In the Mexican League, Barrera went 2-5 with a home run (1), scored and RBI for the Tigres de Quintana Roo who beat the Piratas de Campeche 4-2 in 10 innings.

Jonathan Aro (2.60) pitched one hit, home run, earned run and strikeout inning for the Mariachis de Guadalajara who lost 9-4 to the Algodoneros de Unión Laguna.

In the Atlantic Independent League, Roldani Baldwin went 2 for 5 with a home run (3), a run scored and three RBIs (13) in Staten Island’s 7-6 loss against Frederick Baseball Club.
