Nuggets – Heat Tip, Prognosis & Odds

In my Nuggets Heat Tip for Game 1 I have already passed a successful alley hoop to all betting friends:

The opening game went exactly as I had anticipated: Jamal Murray scored over 25.5 points and thus had the expected number of opportunities to excel. The economies of scale of the nuggets were also hard to miss.

The only thing that surprised me a bit is how incredibly difficult it was for the Heat to take Nikola Jokic out of the game.

The Serb recorded his ninth triple-double in the playoffs with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists – a record in NBA postseason history!

Certainly one of the problems for the Heat in Game 1 was the missed opportunities to set accents from outside: 13 converted threes in 39 attempts is not enough, especially when you draw so infrequently as the Heat did last Friday .

In the end, MIA as a team only managed two free throws, none of which Jimmy Butler was allowed to throw. It was only the second time in the playoffs since arriving in Miami that Butler had not walked to the free-throw line.

The Nuggets, on the other hand, processed the ball much faster in the transition and thus created numerous mismatches, which they knew how to convert into many points.

Their size advantages on the board also prevented the Heatles from gaining permanent access to their own basket.
