777 Partners announced today (20) that Nicolas Maya – an operating partner with extensive experience in the football industry – will join the Board of Directors of Vasco da Gama SAF, effective immediately.

Nicolas has played an active role in all aspects of the club’s business operations since the formation of the SAF in August 2022, working closely with the CEO, Luiz Mello, and other executives at the partnership, including a personal visit last week.
A veteran executive, Nicolas joined 777 Partners after a decade at McKinsey & Co., and was part of the core team handling the rapid expansion of 777 Football Group, the world’s fastest growing multi-club platform. In addition, he is on the Board of Genoa CFC in Italy.
Nicolas replaces Juan Arciniegas, who left 777 Partners in search of other professional opportunities.
