NFL: Tom Brady denies possible return: I’m sure I won’t be back

Tom Bradythe most successful player in the NFL, denied this Thursday recent speculation that he is planning another return to the fields. Retired in 2022 at age 45, Brady rejected that he is planning to join Las Vegas Raidersthe franchise of which he will be a minority shareholder, to occupy the place of the injured Jimmy Garoppolo.

In a video posted by Sports IllustratedBrady, a seven-time Super Bowl winner, has denied he will play again.

I’m sure I won’t play again. I’ve tried to make it clear and I hate to keep stating it, because I’ve already told people so many times.”

At the beginning of 2022, the quarterback already reversed his first retirement announcement and played one more season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneerswhom he guided to the first round of the playoffs.

In February of this year, Brady confirmed that he was retiring “forever”closing a legendary two-decade NFL career in which he won six titles with the New England Patriots and another with the Buccaneers.

Brady, who will turn 46 in August, reached an agreement in recent weeks to become a minority shareholder of the Las Vegas Raiders and plans to start his new job as a television commentator for the FOX network next year.

“I’m really looking forward to the opportunity that lies ahead with the Raiders along with the other different things that I am a part of professionally and in my personal life. I want to spend as much time as I can with my kids, watch them grow and support the different things they have going on, and that’s a very important job that I take very seriously.”
