NFL Player Leonard Fournette’s Truck Catches Fire on Highway

NFL player Leonard Fournette, who is currently a free agent, suffered a terrifying incident today while driving his truck on a highway in the United States. The runner himself shared a video on his social networks, where he showed how the vehicle ended:

While he was driving, Fournette’s car caught fire. In the video he shared, the runner thanked God that he was able to get out unharmed from the chilling incident that took place earlier today.

The veteran running back is currently a free agent, having himself asked the Tampa Bay Buccaneers General Management to release him even before NFL free agency. In 2020, he was an integral part of the success of the Florida team, which went on to win Super Bowl LV.

However, last season, his numbers weren’t the best. Fournette carried the ball 189 times, passing for just 689 yards, an average of 3.5 per carry. He also had three touchdowns. Through the air, he caught 73 passes, which translated into 523 yards and three other scores.

With 28 years, Fournette would be attracting the interest of several NFL teams, including the Bills, Bengals, Chargers and Rams. Shortly after leaving Tampa, the veteran running back declared that he would like to join a team that is in a position to challenge for a Super Bowl next season.

Fournette has a little less than a month left to clarify his future, since the training camps of the NFL teams will begin at the end of July. The start of the new season of the tackle league will be marked by the opening duel between the defending champions, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Detroit Lions, on Thursday, September 7.
