David Beckham has fired his longtime friend Phil Neville as manager of MLS club Inter Miami. The decision announced the bottom of the Eastern Conference.
David Beckham has fired his longtime friend Phil Neville as manager of MLS club Inter Miami. The decision announced the bottom of the Eastern Conference.
Neville had coached the team since January 2021 and reached the Major League Soccer playoffs once during that time. After 15 games this season, Miami has only five wins.
With Beckham, who co-owns the club, Neville has played together for both the England national team and Manchester United.
