In the recurve bow final, the 16-year-old Mexican fought one-on-one against the Korean Lim Sihyeon, who prevailed with a golden arrow.

For Ángela Ruiz Rosales, it is the second medal she has achieved in the 2023 Archery series. The first medal she won was the gold one in Antalya, Turkey, alongside the Olympic medalists Aída Román and Alejandra Valencia Trujillo.
