Mexican Athlete Prisca Awit Strikes Gold in Judo at Central American and Caribbean Games

MEXICO CITY, June 25 (EL UNIVERSAL).- The Mexican delegation continues adding gold medals in the XXIV edition of the Central American and Caribbean Games.

On this occasion, Prisca Awit, an athlete who competes in judo, took first place in the 63-kilogram category.

The 27-year-old athlete defeated the Cuban Maylin del Toro in the final and won the eleventh gold medal for Mexico in San Salvador 2023.

The national team pointed out that she changed her technique to be able to hang the gold medal and shared her happiness after finishing her participation.
