“The heart of Monte Porzio rejoices”, reads the commemorative plaque that this morning the Mayor presented to Alessandro De Ioris and Flavia Cosmelli in the presence of a delegation from the municipal administration and the commander of the municipal police.
A commendation held in the council chamber for the effective and decisive prompt intervention against our fellow citizen who suddenly fell ill last Thursday.
The mayor commented: “Thanks to our fellow citizens who, we can say serenely, have saved a life, to all the volunteers who have joined the “heart of Monte Porzio” project, thanks to my council who did not hesitate to believe in this project by supporting it economically even when we did not have immediate budgetary resources, thanks in particular to Dr. Cosmelli who is the father and creator of the project.Thanks to whoever took charge of the important training phase of the volunteer citizens: Dr. Papaleo , Dr. Cangiano and their team of volunteer doctors who have spent themselves freely and with dedication in the training of many citizens. An affectionate greeting on behalf of all goes to our fellow citizen who is in hospital and is starting a recovery phase. Best wishes speedy recovery.”.
