Long tipped at AC Milan, striker Marcus Thuram (25 years old, 30 games and 13 goals in the Bundesliga this season), free at the end of his contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach, will finally take over the management of Inter Milan on this summer transfer window (see here). According to information from the daily L’Equipe this Saturday, the French international was seduced by the promises made by the Nerazzurri.
Indeed, with contact maintained between the two parties since a Lombard interest in 2021, the former Guingampais has obtained the guarantee of being used in an axial role under the orders of coach Simone Inzaghi. As Euro 2024 approached, Thuram absolutely wanted to settle in the club as a top striker and this commitment from Inter therefore made the difference.
