The Rescue Group of the Emergency Service of the Principality of Asturias (SEPA), aboard the medicalized helicopter of the Asturias Fire Brigade, has evacuated a man who was injured after rolling over with the Asturias Central University Hospital (HUCA). tractor in the town of Villagrufe in Allande. At the expense of more tests and until further medical evaluation, his prognosis is guarded.
The Emergency Coordination Center received the notice at 4:24 p.m. The call indicated that there was a person trapped by a tractor. The rescue team was immediately mobilized on board the medicalized aircraft, along with six SEPA firefighters, based in Cangas del Narcea, who traveled with the multi-aid van and a Navara vehicle.
Once in the area, the firefighters found the injured man being treated by the toilets activated by the SAMU who had immobilized him with a neck brace and had given him analgesia. Apparently the person affected, who had been trapped by a leg, after the tractor overturned, was released with the help of residents of the area who used their tractors to move the damaged vehicle. The rescue team continued with the health care of the affected person, to then transfer him to the vacuum mattress, for later transfer to the helicopter and thus begin his evacuation to the HUCA.
The SEPA room 112 informed the Civil Guard and the Urgent Medical Care Service (SAMU) of the event, which activated the Mobile UVI, the doctor and an ambulance in the area.
