Liverpool Decide Against Including Option to Buy in Fabio Carvalho’s Loan Deal with RB Leipzig

Premier League News: Liverpool did not include an option to buy clause in Fabio Carvalho’s loan deal with RB Leipzig, according to Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano.

Fabio Carvalho struggled for a starting place at Anfield last season following his coveted move from Fulham.

Because of that, there has been debate that the Reds are considering sending the winger elsewhere this summer to give him the regular first-team football experience he desperately needs.

RB Leipzig are keen to bring the 20-year-old Portuguese international to their squad for next season and they have been in talks with Liverpool for his services.

It is now reported that Carvalho is close to joining the German outfit on a season-long loan and the deal is expected to be finalized next week.

However, it is further claimed that Jurgen Klopp’s side have decided not to add an option to buy clause in the loan deal amid negotiations being finalized between the two parties for the winger.

Liverpool are still sticking to their stance and have always been reluctant to sell the Portuguese out on a permanent basis and they are also claimed to have turned down RB Leipzig’s offer of a permanent deal for Carvalho.

It remains to be seen how well Carvalho will perform in the Bundesliga and whether his loan spell in Germany will help him rediscover his best form.
