Kyle Kuzma’s Free Agency Buzz: Sacramento Kings Emerge as Top Suitor

After not accepting his player option and officially becoming a free agent, Kyle Kuzma has started dating suitors. And according to Jake Fischer, a journalist for Yahoo Sports, one of the most interested is Sacramento, which seems to be clear that it will go after the power forward as soon as the market begins.

With 21.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, Kuzma seems like a very interesting option for the offense of many teams, to which he can provide resources and threats both to add by himself and to open the court to the rest of colleagues. Aware of this, he decided to reject the option to continue in Washington for 13 million dollars to find a more attractive offer, something that the Kings could offer him after his latest moves.

The Californians moved intelligently in this aspect during the night of the draft, sending Richaun Holmes, who counted almost nothing for Mike Brown during the 22-23 season, freeing up enough space to be more aggressive in the market. This makes them a very attractive team for free agents, since they combine an interesting sporting project with economic capacities with which to satisfy their salary demands.

More NBAPlay-in audiences grow compared to 2022

In addition, Sacramento has found other possible good news in this regard, such as the arrival of John Collins in Utah. The Jazz had been another of the teams linked to Kuzma for the summer, but the addition of another weight player in the position seems to rule them out and pave the way for the Kings.
