Hallesche FC Strengthens Squad with New Signings and Transfers

Hallesche FC have doubled their strength on Monday. Midfielder and ex-Mainzer Besar Halimi (28) comes from the Greek second division club Apollon Smyrnis, while goalkeeper Moritz Schulze (22) joins the third division club from SC Paderborn 07. The duo is free. The contract of striker Dominik Steczyk (24), who is moving back to Poland, will be terminated prematurely.

“Besar Halimi will help us and make us more stable with his great experience, his playfulness and his creativity. At 28, he is in the prime of footballing age and definitely wants to do it again in Germany. We are pleased that we were able to win a player of his stature for us,” said sports director Thomas Sobotzik and added with a look at the goal: “Moritz Schulze is a model athlete with ambitions, ambition and team spirit. We are now well positioned in this position and expect an open three-way battle and competition at a very high level.”
