The final composition of the Groupama-FDJ team for the Tour de France (July 1 to 23, 2023) fell on Wednesday. Marc Madiot had already given a list of five selected riders a few days ago, namely David Gaudu, Thibaut Pinot, Valentin Madouas, Stefan Küng and Kevin Geniets. The French sprinter Arnaud Démare, double stage winner on the Tour, was not one of them, he who will leave Groupama-FDJ at the end of the season, his contract not being renewed.
The last three riders to join are Olivier Le Gac, Quentin Pacher and Lars Van der Berg, who is the only surprise on the list. The Dutchman was preferred to the Australian Michael Storer.
