He Girona announced this afternoon the renewal ofArnau Ortiz until 2026. The 21-year-old midfielder from Figueres had a contract until next year and has reached an agreement with the club to extend it for two more seasons. Ortiz joined Girona’s base in the summer of 2021 from Peralada and after starting the 2021/22 school year with the subsidiary, he went on loan to Peña Deportiva of Segona RFEF where he scored four goals in 16 contested matches and was key in the classification of the Ibizan team in the promotion play-off.
