Arsenal will soon release a second on Jurriën Timber, transfer journalists Fabrizio Romano and Florian Plettenberg expect. According to the latter, “everything depends” on the second offer and an agreement can be reached with Ajax for a transfer fee of 40 to 45 million euros, plus bonuses.

The initial offer from Arsenal was around 35 million euros, while Ajax reportedly bet on 60 million euros. That asking price seems unrealistic, but Arsenal will at least improve his first offer. Bayern Munich is also interested, although Arsenal seems to be the only club that is concrete.

The personal conditions will be according to previous reports of The Telegraph constitute ‘no problem’. Arsenal have a four- or five-year contract in mind for Timber; preference of the Gunners would go out to a commitment until mid-2028.

Timber and his agent Christopher Coffie of Forza Sports Group are said to be ‘basically’ in agreement with both proposals. It is therefore a matter of waiting for an agreement between Ajax and Arsenal.
