Juma had his contract renewed with Fluminense for another season. The setter said she was happy with the permanence and spoke about the expectation for another great campaign for the team, now in her second season at the club.
“I am very happy with the renewal for next season. I hope we can do an excellent campaign again and bring even more joy to the fans.”
For Fluminense, the athlete won third place in the 2023 Copa do Brasil and was one of the highlights in the best campaign in the club’s history in a Superliga edition (2022/2023). Representing the Brazilian National Team, Juma was champion of the U-23 World Cup, being elected the MVP and best setter of the tournament, in 2015. As an adult, the athlete competed at the Pan American Games in Lima, in 2019.
