Indonesian men’s doubles Leo Rolly Carnando / Daniel Marthin won over the Thai pair Supak Jomkoh / Kittinupong Kedren 16-21, 21-16 and 21-16 in the round of 32 Singapore Open 2023Tuesday (6/6).

At the start of the first game, Leo/Daniel was left behind by the Thai pair. Leo/Daniel were behind 5-1, 7-3, 10-4.

Leo/Daniel ended up trailing 6-11 in the first game interval. However, Leo/Daniel was able to catch up to 13-14 after the interval in the first game.

Then the Thai pair again widened the lead to 18-14. Unfortunately, the Thai pair were able to close the first game with a 21-16 victory.

In the second game, Leo/Daniel managed to lead the points from the Thai pair from the start of the game.

Leo/Daniel were finally able to close the interval in the second game with an 11-10 advantage. After the interval in the second game, Leo/Daniel managed to widen their advantage over the Thai pair with a score of 16-12.

The Indonesian men’s doubles also managed to leave the Thai pair with a 20-14 advantage. Leo/Daniel won the second game 21-16 and forced the match to go to a rubber game.

In the third game, Leo/Daniel managed to lead the points. Leo/Daniel had time to widen their lead to 7-4 and closed the third game interval with an 11-8 advantage.

After the interval in the third game, Leo/Daniel succeeded in widening their lead to 15-8. Finally Leo/Daniel won 21-16 in the third game. This victory makes Leo/Daniel qualify for the last 16 of the Singapore Open 2023.
