Miquel Salvó renews two seasons with Dreamland Gran Canaria

The Gran Canaria Basketball Club and Miquel Salvó (Vilanova i la Geltrú, 1994) have reached an agreement for the next two seasons with the option of an additional one.

After training in the FC Barcelona youth academy and playing in all categories of national basketball, Salvó landed in Gran Canaria two seasons ago from San Pablo Burgos, where he had won two consecutive Basketball Champions Leagues and an Intercontinental Cup.

The 28-year-old forward has been a fundamental part of the team since his arrival on the island thanks to his versatility, where he can alternate various positions, and his contribution to different facets of the game. Also due to his leadership and character, he is already one of the strongholds of the yellow locker room.

Nemanja Radovic stays at UCAM Murcia

The Montenegrin power forward renews after signing his best numbers since he was in Spain: 10.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and a PIR of 12.3. There are already 247 games completed with the university elastic (218 Endesa League, 14 Eurocup and 13 Basketball CL). With this renewal for two seasons, he will become the player with the second most appearances in the club’s history, surpassing the Legend Xavi Sánchez in the Endesa League (221, Sadiel Rojas leads the table with 292) and probably the player with the most points. Right now he has 1,917 to 165 from another Legend like Ralph McPherson (2,082).

Babatunde Olumuyiwa will not continue at BAXI Manresa

Babatunde Olumuyiwa will not continue to be a BAXI Manresa player next season. The center from Sierra Leone, who arrived last summer in the capital of Bages, has played a total of 27 (19 in the Endesa League and 8 in the Basketball Champions League) games with the red shirt, averaging 3 points and 2.3 rebounds in 13 minutes. The club has decided to make use of the clause that allows it to terminate the contractual relationship with the player.

Diego Epifanio will continue at Leyma Coruña

Leyma Coruña keeps Diego Epifanio (Burgos, 1978) on the bench as coach of the orange team for the next 2023-2024 season. He does so after achieving a great campaign after a historic course for the Club, in which the team managed to chain 9 consecutive victories in the regular season and finish it in 3rd position. And despite the fact that the team fell in the Playoff quarterfinals (Leyma Coruña 1 – Guuk Gipuzkoa 3), there is no doubt about the success this season has brought to our entity.
