Second division Dukla Praha, which finished the last F:NL season in fourth place, boasted a pair of new reinforcements at the beginning of the last week of June 2023.
Twenty-four-year-old defender Dominik Hašek, who signed a two-year contract at Juliska, is coming from Chrudim, and midfielder Jakub Zeronik, two years younger, is moving from Slavia to Dejvice, who has committed to the yellow colors for the next three seasons.
Hašek, who was born in Hradec Králové, played 14 first-league and 81 second-league matches as of this date, and in the past also gained experience in Mladá Boleslav and Bohemians Praha 1905. He said goodbye to East Bohemia after sixty-eight starts.
“We needed to strengthen the stopper position, so we had several players in our sights. In the end, we chose Dominik as the best possible choice. We know his character and passing skills. He has already played a lot for his age, and he also troubled our attackers decently in each other matches with Chrudim. Last season, Zeronik was loaned to Příbram, with whom he said goodbye to the business card of 25 played duels and five goals, with the fact that he also played in both playoff matches with Pardubice.
“At the moment when the opportunity to sign Jakub opened up, we didn’t hesitate. Every fan remembers how he troubled our defense in the spring in the Příbram jersey. We see great potential and productivity in him for our attack in the following season.” added the former Jihlava functionary.
