In September 2021, Julian Nagelsmann and Dino Toppmöller were guests on FC Bayern’s own podcast. The former head of the current Eintracht coach prophesied even then: “I think you would be a good head coach. In this respect, I appreciate even more that you support me with your expertise.”

Toppmöller’s football expertise is undisputed. Nagelsmann especially praised his assistant coach’s understanding of the game: “Dino, professionally I appreciate your high level of perception, how quickly you understood what kind of football I want to play and how this idea is communicated.” Toppmöller and Nagelsmann worked together almost three years side by side.

Standard weakness could improve in the future under specialists Toppmöller at Eintracht.

Eintracht coach Dino Toppmöller also gave interesting insights into his idea of ​​successful and beautiful football in his previous role as assistant coach at FC Bayern: “I really like dealing with the tactical orientation, especially with what we do with the ball , what our idea is, how we can use spaces or open them up with walkways.”

Particularly interesting for Eintracht Frankfurt is Nagelsmann’s statement on the “ideas in the area of ​​standard situations”, which the former FCB coach praised.
