Ex-Red Devil Stéphane Demol has passed away. His ex-club RSC Anderlecht and the Belgian Football Association (RBFA) confirmed this on social media on Thursday evening. The former footballer and trainer was barely 57 years old. Tributes poured in on social media.
“Stéphane Demol started his rich football career at RSC Anderlecht”, says the Purple & White. “The ex-Red Devil dies at the age of 57. We’ll miss him. Rest in peace, Stephane.” The RBFA expressed its support for Demol’s loved ones via a tweet.
