As Neves hosted the Galician Championship for the Under-15 category, a competition in which the A Estrada Badminton Club participated with the players Mateo Ónega, Zoe Villar, Antía and Iría Martín, Martín Rey and Darío Míguez. The last of them was proclaimed Galician champion in the competition and would climb back to the first step of the drawer together with Martín Rey, both becoming the Galician men’s doubles champions. The rest of the players played a good tournament, falling in the round of 16.
For his part, Alejandro Barcala from Estrada traveled to the Cantabrian town of Soto de la Marina, to play a TTR Sub-19. There he managed to take the gold in mixed doubles, together with the Belmencher player, Nerea Eraso. In addition, he also achieved silver in individual, after losing the final against the local player Raúl Yedra.
