To compensate for the departure of Sergio Busquets to Miami, FC Barcelona seems to have activated the Dani Parejo track.
Midfielder Dani Parejo, 34 years old and playing for Villarreal, is considered a possible successor to Sergio Busquets and is of great interest to FC Barcelona. According giants, the Catalan club would have even taken a step ahead by making a first offer. The Blaugrana have reportedly offered a one-year deal with an option for another year while the player would rather sign a two-year deal.
Parejo, still linked to Villarreal until June 2024, has a relatively low release clause, which would not pose a problem for FC Barcelona. This track would have been accelerated following negotiations between Marcelo Brozovic and the Saudi club Al-Nassr.
