NBA – Kevin Love missed his team’s flight but was able to reach Colorado on his own, the day after his wife gave birth.
The good news did not take long to fall. His wife, Canadian model Kate Bock, finally gave birth on Saturday, which upset the new dad’s schedule a bit. Kevin Love did not take the team’s plane to go to Denver for Game 5 on Monday. He arrived on his own on Sunday, in time to watch the video shoot and meet media requests.
“I clearly need some rest, some sleep. Everyone is happy and healthy,” did he declare. “I was able to arrive in time for the video session, I was also able to get some sleep. So today is going to be enough to run, acclimatize, get some care, rest, and be ready to go again”.
Share his experience of 2016
So Kevin Love will be there for Game 5, maybe a little late sleepy but with a heart full of positive vibes, and he shared his experience of the crazy epic of 2016, when the Cavaliers overthrew the Warriors after trailing 3-1 in the series.
“When your back is against the wall, you start looking for answers, solutions. But we are a team that, as you know, is very resilient. We are aware that it is about each possession and a single game. I know it’s a cliché and everyone says it, but again we think if we get off to a good start tomorrow and play extremely hard and give ourselves a chance to come back to Miami, it’s is exactly what we want to do. Since I’ve been here, I’ve spoken a lot to the team, to Udonis too, because I have a champion’s past and I’ve been there before. For his part, Kyle led 3-1 when we were down 3-1 against the Warriors in 2016. We have different views and things to say to the team. We kept telling the guys not to give up and stay in the saddle. »
