There was so much enthusiasm in the boys and girls of the Municipal School of Judo y Jiu-Jitsu as in their families, who attended this kind of exhibition in the stands of the pavilion where they verified the evolution of the students in a sport recommended for children by Unesco.
The mayor of apple orchards, Julián Nieva, together with the councilor of sportsManuel José Palacios, attended this closing ceremony for yet another year in which the boys and girls have the prize of belt promotion, as well as a diploma and trinkets.
In the exhibition, the participation of the eight students who will be examined on June 17 to obtain the black belt of Jiu-Jitsu. Also that of the adults who participate in the School of Personal Defense, which has more and more women in its student body.
With this exhibition and subsequent family coexistence, the 45th course of the Club of Judowhich coincides with the 25th year of the Municipal School managed by this club and whose great teachers have been José Cañizares, since its inception, and Paqui Moreno for 34 years.
It has been the first course with complete normality after the pandemic, in which there was a break and the students did not go out to compete. This year he has done it again with good results in the sub 13, sub 15 and sub 18 categories in judo and jiu-jitsu.
At this closure, both the club and the City Council thanked the families for their trust. Julián Nieva also expressed his recognition of the work of the Judo Club.
