Clement may make a JPL comeback at this unexpected club | Football24

A few days ago, Philippe Clement was pushed aside at AS Monaco. He failed to qualify for the Champions League.

Even more: Monaco and Clement missed out on a European ticket on the final day. The Belgian trainer is now without a job, but that does not have to be the case for long. Rumors are circulating in the corridors that he could make a comeback with a JPL club.

Most top clubs already have a trainer for next season, but Standard does not yet. Clement would therefore be on their wish list, but the biggest stumbling block for the Liège residents is the trainer’s salary. In France, he was the highest-earning coach after PSG coach Christophe Galtier.

Many Standard fans have already announced on Twitter that they would like nothing more than to see the former Club coach get to work with them: “Come to Standard, Philippe!” and “See you soon at Standard, as Michel Preud’homme had hoped!” To be continued…

Meer nog: Monaco en Clement grepen op de slotspeeldag nog helemaal naast een Europees ticket. De Belgische trainer zit nu dus zonder job, maar dat hoeft niet lang zo te zijn. In de wandelgangen gaat het gerucht de ronde dat hij een comeback kan maken bij een JPL-club.
