CEFL Bowl: Final details revealed

Eagerly awaited by American football fans in France, the final of the CEFL European Cup, called CEFL Bowl, has unveiled its contours.

CEFL Bowl XVII will undoubtedly mark the history of American football in France. And for good reason! For the very first time in the history of this sport, two French clubs, the Flash de la Courneuve and the Black Panthers of Thonon-les-Bains, will compete for a European title.

Of course, these two teams know each other perfectly. The Ile-de-France and Haut-Savoyards have already played each other twice during the D1 Elite regular season this season (a victory for the Black Panthers and a draw) and also met in the 26th diamond helmet last season with a victory this time for the Flash. But if the two clubs are used to national games, this CEFL Bowl XVII will mark the first confrontation to win a title at continental level.

According to the rules of the CEFL European Cup, the CEFL Bowl must take place at one of the two finalists. As the highest seed in the competition, because reigning French champion, it is therefore the Flash de la Courneuve that will be responsible for organizing this great European final. The match will therefore take place at the Geo André de la Courneuve stadium on Saturday June 24 at 6 p.m. (French time).
