Caroline Garcia loses a place in the WTA rankings, Barbora Krejcikova returns to the top 10

Few changes in the WTA top 10. Resting after her title at Roland-Garros, Iga Swiatek retains her first place ahead of Aryna Sabalenka, who missed a great opportunity to tickle the Pole by losing to Veronika Kudermetova in the round of 16 in Berlin. The Belarusian still remains second, just under 1,000 points behind Swiatek.

The other change in the top 10 concerns Barbora Krejcikova. The Czech, finalist in Birmingham against Jelena Ostapenko, regains 10th place. She had not been so well ranked for a year, in June 2022. Beatriz Haddad Maia made the bad deal by losing three places to now be 13th.

The most interesting progress is to be put to the credit of Marketa Vondrousova who, despite her defeat in the quarter-finals in Berlin against Maria Sakkari, gains 13 positions and is in 40th place. On the other hand, this Monday is more gloomy for Bianca Andreescu, who slips from 35th to 51st place.
