Carinthian goalkeeper Tino Casali is moving to German second division club Eintracht Braunschweig. The 27-year-old, most recently a goalkeeper at SCR Cashpoint Altach, signed at table 15. last season a contract until 2025.
“It was our clear goal to increase the competition in the goalkeeper position with an external newcomer, and we succeeded in doing that by signing Tino,” said sporting director Peter Vollmann. “At the age of 27, he still has room for improvement, but he already has enough experience from Austria.”
Casali is looking forward to the new challenge. “I’m really happy to be at such a traditional club,” said the goalie. “Of course I want to establish myself in the second Bundesliga and have a stable season with the team. I think that is the wish of all of us here.”
