Can the Olympics be green?

In 417 days, the 33rd Olympiad will begin in Paris. Olympic Games announced as “historic for the climate”. The project is indeed ambitious: to halve the carbon footprint compared to London 2012 or Rio 2016. On this World Environment Day, we are questioning the ability to organize ecological Olympic Games. The stated objectives will be- they achieved? Should we drastically review the model of the Olympics to respond to the climate crisis?
