As we mentioned at the beginning, Brandin Cooks has been turning heads since his arrival in Dallas due to his speed. During a Cowboys minicamp practice, the veteran shined after a 60-yard touchdown reception. This, of course, is something that can come in handy for quarterback Dak Prescott’s cowboy offense.
“He has pure speed”, Prescott said of Cooks. “He runs the same way all the time. I think that is the most important thing. When you have speed like that, that makes him capable of making every play or route, the defense doesn’t know what it’s going to deal with.”
While this all looks great, what Brandin Cooks demonstrated in Dallas so far remains “unofficial.” It is true that, during training camp, we already see the receiver excelling under a different intensity in practices.
