In Antwerp they are still enjoying the sweltering denouement of the Jupiler Pro League. Partly thanks to Club’s victory on Union’s field, the Great Old was able to add the title to its palmares.
A lot of blue and black fans didn’t like that, of course, because Antwerp has been seen as the biggest rival in recent years. It is therefore at least striking when a Club Brugge player suddenly turns up in a shirt of the brand new national champion.
Nevertheless, Raphael Onyedika took the plunge. On Paul Onuachu’s Instagram story, the midfielder suddenly showed up in the shirt of Antwerp captain Toby Alderweireld. No doubt not ill-intentioned, but still quite sensitive for the Club fans.
