Beaurépaire. A change of presidency at the badminton club

the outcome of the general meeting of the Beaurepaire badminton club, which took place on Thursday 1^is June, the office was completely renewed.

At the presidency, the former treasurer, Jerôme Chanplong, who replaces Lionel Tellard. The secretariat is held by Emmanuel Dautel, who replaces Béatrice Majoux. And Adeline Parisse takes the reins of the treasury.

This year, the club wants to maintain and develop the badminton school and encourage young people to compete. A reflection is also carried out to attract more adult members and in particular women to balance the parity. Efforts will also be put in place to mobilize volunteers.

To improve the finances of the club, the mobilization of sponsors will also be necessary. A reflection on new actions will also be undertaken in order to make themselves better known. Of course, the organization of the Basilisk tournament, which takes place every year at the end of March, will be maintained.

On the sporting side, this is positive. With good results from the youngsters competing for the season. And a number of members of 86, including 33 young people.

Financially, the town hall grant of €1,800 helped support the club, which lost €4,000 due to the increase in Saturday morning training slots. In terms of sponsorship, €1,300 was recovered and the tournament brought in a profit of approximately €2,600. As for memberships, they represent €4,800. The operating budget is €25,000 for the year, of which 33% is used for the coach’s salary.

Training takes place Thursday from 5 to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
