The blues Fabio Caponio e Yasmine Hamza won the gold medal in Chile International of Badminton. Caponio he overcame the American Kevin Arokia Walter 2-1 (21-19; 25-27; 21-19) in an extremely contested final. Hamza instead it overwhelmed the Peruvian Ines Lucia Castillo Salazar 2-0 (21-10; 21-16). The third medal, this bronze one, instead brought the signature of Judith Mair, defeated in the semifinal by Salazar but good at redeeming herself by securing the lowest step of the podium.
