Arsenal have reportedly made a second bid to Chelsea for Kai Havertz. What is the value of the proposal The Gunners?
Arsenal showed they are serious about pursuing Kai Havertz this summer. Havertz is indeed on the Chelsea sale list, which resets the project again as a new manager, Mauricio Pochettino, arrives.
Cannon London can confidently transport the 24-year attacking midfielder. A personal agreement has basically been made and Havertz is said to have agreed on a salary of around £210,000 per week.
Negotiations with Chelsea are continuing. Arsenal’s first offer of 40 million pounds has been rejected, because The Blues initially asking for 75 million pounds.
But in its development, Chelsea is willing to lower the price to 60 million pounds. This is what Arsenal then responded with a second offer.
The north London club reportedly made an offer of £55m plus an additional £5m in bonuses. This is expected to be enough to destabilize Chelsea.
Arsenal are eyeing several targets this summer, in an effort to strengthen the squad after last season’s failure to win the Premier League. Apart from Havertz, Mikel Arteta’s team is currently pursuing Declan Rice (West Ham United) and Jurrien Timber (Ajax).
