After a year, the Slovak anthem was played again at Markéta. Milik scored a single point

At the head of the Grand Prix after the third part is the defending champion Pole Zmarzlik, who finished fourth in Prague and now has three points more than Swede Lindgren, who remained at the gates of the final on Saturday evening. After six years, Vaculík is the rider who repeated the first place in Prague a year later, and thus moved up to the fourth place in the standings of the series, which will determine this year’s world champion. Just a point for Holder.

At the same time, the 33-year-old Vaculík saved his promotion to the top eight during the evening only in his last performance of the basic schedule. He won the necessary three points in front of almost ten thousand spectators at Markéta and secured a place in the semi-finals. In it, he then made his way from third place in the opening corner to first and thus did not allow Briton Bewley, who had the most points after twenty races, into the decisive part of the race.

The Grand Prix of the Czech Republic on the flat track was won by Martin Vaculík from Slovakia. In the picture, he is rejoicing over the victory in the final race.

In the final, Vaculík, benefiting from the massive support of the stands, got off to the best start and kept behind the approaching Madsen, who at the same time started from the inner edge of the track. “The background of the race was amazing, I love Prague. It didn’t start very well, after four races I had six points and it was really difficult. But when I literally got into the elite eight in 12 minutes, I got a real kick out of it. Then I could rely on the well-equipped motorcycle, which allowed me to overtake,” he said.

On the other hand, Milík, who was on the wild card, ended up very disappointed, he erased the zero on his account only in his last ride. “My starts didn’t work out at all, then there was nothing to catch,” to regret. The other Czech representatives, Jan Kvěch and Eduard Krčmář, who were prepared in the roles of substitutes, did not get on the track even after the falls of Australian Doyle and Briton Woffinden, who ended surprisingly in fields of the defeated.
