In the continuity of the Courir pour le Cambodge action, the association Éducation solidaire Cambodge, associated with the Ligue de l’enseignement 43 and the Usep (Sporting union for primary education), organized a day of solidarity . Three schools took part: Beaux-Veyrines, Chaspuzac and Taulhac.
210 schoolchildren gathered for a good cause
This day, focused on sports activities, brought together 210 students on the grounds of the Louis-Exbrayat complex in Brives-Charensac. Various workshops were conducted by partners and sports committees: baseball, football, Khmer dance, yoga; athletics, DPA (Daily Physical Activity) and ultimate mandala.
The youngest also took part in a storytelling hike. Also on the program, a photo rally of Cambodian landscapes as well as a solidarity race. Very playful, on a loop of 200 meters, they traveled several tens of kilometers…
During the month of May, schools, students, teachers and families also got together to contribute to the construction of a kindergarten class at the Sré Ampills school in Cambodia. A sale of brioches had thus made it possible to collect the sum of €650 and it was with the presentation of the check to the association that this day of solidarity ended.
