Zeidler rows into the Zagreb final

Rowing World Champion Oliver Zeidler made it into the finals at the World Cup opener in Zagreb with aplomb. The 26-year-old from Frankfurt’s RG Germania dominated his semifinals and will be the clear favorite in the decision on Sunday afternoon.

Zeidler is the only German to use the competition in Croatia to determine its position internationally. The highlights of the season for the rowers are the European Championships in Bled from May 26th to 28th and the World Championships from September 3rd to 10th in Belgrade, where the first nine in the one-piece get their ticket for the Olympic Games in Paris.
