[미디어투데이=안상일기자] The Yeoncheon-gun Disabled Sports Association announced that it won two silver medals in the badminton event at the 13th Gyeonggi-do Disabled Sports Festival held in Seongnam from the 27th to the 30th.
About 4,300 athletes and executives representing each city and county in Gyeonggi-do participated in this competition, and about 30 people from Yeoncheon-gun participated in 4 events. In the pairing category, they won two silver medals.
“I prepared hard, but unfortunately I missed the gold medal,” Kim said, expressing her strong will for the next event.
Meanwhile, this competition also served as an opportunity to encourage and stimulate each other through sports for the disabled, and the players who competed in various events showed hope and challenging spirit for the future.
